Youth and Poverty

On the Youth and Poverty spring break trip, students get to work within a non-profit organization that runs a Head Start Program.  On the trip students get to spend a majority of the trip helping right out in classroom with the children, and spend the afternoons working in a local food pantry.  The site contacts are always excited to have Alternative Breaks, and enjoy sharing information about their community.  This trip is great for anyone one who loves kids and interacting with community members!
